Happy New Year 2022

Here at Joshie’s Photography, I wish you a very happy new year of 2022! I am sure that many of you have goals or resolutions that you would like to accomplish in the new year of 2022. That goes the same with me, which I will be sharing in a few days in a new post here so you can get an idea of what goals or resolutions I might have for the year 2022. As we are going into a new year, we have a new page of 2022 to do something that we learned not to repeat whatever we did in 2021 that was not good or our bad mistakes. Whatever we may have done that was not good for us in 2021 never be cleansed, but in 2022 we have a new slate to do whatever can reflect us in a good way. Sure, whether our 2021 year might reflect us in a good or bad way is something that we can never erase because it has been recorded. Now, how do we want the 2022 record of ourselves to look like? It is entirely in our hands on that one. Speaking of the 2021 record, of whatever we did, whether it is good or bad that reflects who we are, we have a chance to be sure that this new year 2022 is not a repeat.

While we make a list of goals or resolutions, whether it be losing weight, earning more income or salary, getting a new job that pays well, raising a new family with a new child, and whatnot. That is fine, nothing wrong with that, but we should not omit a few of the things on that list of ours – to do good! What is the definition of doing something good? Many of us have different meanings or ideas on good or bad. With that being said, we should think about doing something good for others rather than for ourselves and supporting a charity, such as setting fundraising for a charity that you believe deserves it? Do a fundraiser for some people who are homeless in our neighborhoods? Donate funds or gifts to help people who need them more than we do? Helping people with something they may need our help, such as volunteering to remove debris or making the environment better for them to live in? There are so many things that we can do that would be considered us doing something good for others rather than for ourselves. Do you need to order a cup of coffee at Starbucks? If no, then save that money of whatever you would be paying for a cup of that coffee and put that toward donating or doing something for others. Do something to help your locals, such as supporting your local businesses. If you are not financially stable, you can still do good by doing something else that does not have to do with money, such as volunteering a time of yours to talk with others. In this pandemic, many people are hungry for a conversation. When many of them attempt to have a conversation with others, they are ignored because they have something better than having an hour conversation with them. Seriously, don’t be like that. It is never a good thing to snub someone, as I have experienced that even though I still have them on my friends’ list on social media, they only make themselves look more selfish than they thought. Don’t let any negatives in your life, start with something positive and stay with that!

Nonetheless, this is more of my personal letter to all of you who support Joshie’s Photography. I wrote a letter to you all wishing you a Merry Christmas the other day, and my message to all of you on that day was “Merry Christmas and be safe”.

Now, my message for the New Year of 2022 to you: Happy New Year of 2022 and DO GOOD!

I hope all of you have a great new year’s eve and as well new year’s. Of course, don’t do anything dangerous such as drinking and driving. That is a quick way to add a first bad mistake on your new 2022 record!

CHEERS!

Joshua “Joshie” Sullivan.
